i made a blender theme. it’s called cream soda and it’s at the bottom if you just want the file.
my theme has two sources of inspiration:
first, it’s all the blender girlies and boys who hear “eye strain” and go, who? i barely saw her. the ones who would rather risk it all for an aesthetic workspace. this theme turns opening blender into a little ritual i look forward to, instead of the full-body flashback i get from the after effects workspace, whose fonts are too small to read even on my giant external monitor. there is something genuinely nice about a cute place to work even when it’s on your desk.
the other half of it is japan. i went last year with my daughter and we ate exclusively at lawson and 7-eleven. i feel like japan exists in another dimension that runs on a fujifilm lut. everything was warm, muted, a little desaturated. but maybe i’m just remembering it that way. cream soda is me trying to bottle that and pour it over my modeling software.
try it
cream_soda.zip is below. drag it into blender and you’re done. works on blender 5.0.0 and up.
or if you prefer, you can download it straight from the blender themes website. there’s a lot of other good stuff on there, too, plus more themes that work for older versions of blender.
